Long Island Bassmasters would like to invite you to join us for one of our tournaments. We fish tournaments on Long Island, Upstate New York, Connecticut, an even New Jersey on occasion. We have gas boat and electric boat options available to you. A non-LIB member who is not a past member may fish one tournament with LIB per year to get a feel for our club environment. You would pay our traditional individual tournament fee of $20 (or $30 including optional bet). Prior to fishing a club tournament, the non-member must attend a club meeting and make a request to our President Tom Jermyn to fish the club function. The non-member must fish on his own boat and may fish with a non-member rider for an additional $20 / $30 fee. They will participate in all money bets as appropriate based on fee but will not participate in the points system. We'd love to have you join us. There's no other club like us. We'd like to show you why.
Well, they might not be on Major League Fishing, but I promise you they can teach you a thing or two about this crazy sport we all love so much. So, here are a few articles they wrote for you to download and read. Take it from a guy that's had his butt handed to him by most of them, at one time for another, they know what they're talking about.
